I’m just guessing that another reason could also be needing a guest star to sign off.

Pete Townshend guested on the penultimate European show, in Birmingham

Now I'm wondering if it's a Broadway show?

All horrible news combined together then.

Hoping for no guests.  That includes Gary US Bonds, Peter Wolf, and especially Tom Morello.

The news of the reprised Broadway run puts the delay in a new light. I know we will get a new archive relatively soon. It just bothers me to want it as bad as I do. As we make it through the week, it seems less and less likely for it to drop this week. Just my opinion and I'd love to wrong.

Whilst releases have been delayed in the past to make way for Sony releases or announcements, the Broadway announcement is out of the way now.

Personally, I don't see why either the delay or the choice of show should have any connection to the Broadway announcement. The Archive releases have always ploughed their own furrow, independent from whatever else is going on in Bruceworld.

I was always like what you are feeling right now. Waiting for something big, just to be disappointed a couple of different times. So now when it happens it happens! I don't sweat over it anymore!  Hopefully it's a good one!

Case in point: "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".

Los Angeles 1 November 1980. Guest appearance of Jackson Browne on Sweet Little Sixteen.

34-song setlist with 17 River album songs also includes: Prove It All Night with 1978 intro; tour premiere of Candy's Room; first ever performance of Fade Away; first performance of The Price You Pay with the third verse with alternative lyrics; No Money Down as an introduction to Cadillac Ranch; and For You. (Setlist also includes that song I don't like, but you can't have everything).

Unlikely, but if true, you first read it here!:)

If ANY rising show is to be soon it seems most likely that it’d be a stadium show from the last part of the tour.

The only thing that's certain about the next Rising show... is that someone will complain about the selection!

....... or the sound quality, or the mix, or .......

There’s nothing to complain about with that show, so all is good! :D

Well apart from the 2 women who were talking next to me during incident, but I am sure we won’t hear them.

When actual tape is involved they need to send it to Maine and run it through the process, which involves baking and then doing a transfer and work on the digital file afterward. Then back to New York for mixing. Then they master and then deliver to nugs.

At some point Bruce needs to approve.

All of this takes time when tape is involved.

Aren’t they usually baked and transferred by Sonicraft in Red Bank?

I always thought it was Pangent in Maine. All I was saying was that physical tape takes time to get ready for release.
