Hmmm - methinks you should shake your Magic 8-ball again ;)

Well Spurs got a bit of a slap in the face by Wolves the other day and that may have helped them come ready to play.  So are they are the only side who came out looking sharp today.  Good for Pochettino.

I was born in York and have watched York City for over 35 years though thin and thinner.  Last year we were relegated to the 6th tier of English football for the first time ever. Hard times.

clearout at Spurs to make room for new players or cheese???

"As well as Dembele, Tottenham are keen to offload Spanish striker Fernando Llorente, 33, 24-year-old Dutch forward Vincent Janssen, former France Under-21 winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, 23, and 27-year-old Kenya midfielder Victor Wanyama"

Dembele rumored for a China bid, good for him. Llorente hasn't been used much (but he got a nice goal today), rumored to go back to Spain. Jannssen has been hurt, IIRC he may play Monday v. LFC U23s. Nkoudou needs to go play somewhere. Wanyama has been hurt, but back now in training. IIRC he was rumored to be of interest to a mid-table team, forget which one.

Vorm, too, as Gazz is younger and has played well when given the chance, and Vorm is out of contract in the summer.

If you're not using them, move them out and improve with the replacements. Spurs could use one or two high quality mid-fielders (two if they can't get Eriksen to renew).

still if that all happens they will have barely an 18 man squad of fit players and they are still in all 4 competitions....

IIRC they are actually over numbers right now - but if players go out then there's room to bring in. And IIRC they suffered in Euro comps as they lacked "home grown" players, so there is definitely a "move out to bring in" mindset there. Hence the interest in young English players that gets floated.

Ouch, now 6-0, Llorente has a hat trick.

And Poch has Kane warming up

and Kane scores. I guess it was nice for the fans to see the England captain.

Lovely finish to press his claim for a place in the starting XI next game!
