Hello everyone I am home from the hospital again !! First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all the support and loving messages, including all personal messages have done me good.

Good morning! Here's a "Sunday surprise" for your enjoyment. Hrubesh used the wav files from my 1985-09-01 release and applied his skills to improve the sound. When I listened to his finished pro

A few weeks ago, I put up 3 or 4 links per day, for the full Tape Man Joe series of some 80 shows

I am happy to do the same thing for the 120 + JEMS releases (excluding any officially released stuff) if there is any interest

All will be in FLAC, with WeTransfer links valid for 7 days, with just the music (no supplementary files nor artwork)

39cm? That's one big foot. Our you in a circus? :D

It's size 8 in your way of measuring so no. :D The lady in "Highway 29" had size 7 and the guy did more than just drive all night for those feet. :D

That would be great.  I had a lot of gaps and gratefully downloaded quite a few of the Tape Man Joe series you kindly put up.  Would really appreciate the JEMS series - although I have a lot, my collection is by no means anywhere near complete.

thank you for your generous offer. I have a few JEMS releases, but I am sure they don't amount to 120+. So you will be filling some holes in my collection. Thanks

I suppose it is one of those "grey areas" about what constitutes a legal release, so far as I know the entire show hasn't been released - a significant failure on the part of Bruce and Company in my opinion

Quote

Part of the concert was legally released to retail in the UK in 2005 by American Legends Limited as 'Live On Air', reissued in 2007 by Storming as 'Transmissions', reissued again in 2010 by Southworld as 'Live On Air', and reissued again in 2011 by Facerock as 'The Best "Live On Air" Of Bruce Springsteen'. The complete show was released in 2011 by Left Field Media as a two-CD set titled 'Live At The Main Point, 1975', by Let Them Eat Vinyl (under exclusive agreement with Left Field Media) as a four-LP box set titled 'Live At The Main Point 1975', and in 2014 by Parallel Lines as part of a three-CD set titled 'The Spirit Of The Radio: Legendary Broadcasts From The Early 1970s' that also includes a CD containing the January 9, 1973 WBCN-FM and April 24, 1973 WMMR-FM radio broadcasts. None of these releases are officially issued by Sony, rather by enterprising record labels taking advantage of a legal loophole

Yeah, it definitely should have been released by now.

None of those releases were official, just european companies taking advantage of a loophole in the copyright law during the 90s. (FM broadcasts from before 1990 are considered public domain).

That shouldn't count as an official release. By that logic, every CC release would be gone by originally being sold.

I may have jumped the gun a bit on that one, but after I saw "Legally released to retail in  the UK" I pulled the trigger.

It's all damned complicated, but since we know Bruce's people are aware of us, I would rather swing and miss by being too careful.   And if you SONY people are reading this - RELEASE THIS DAMNED SHOW PLEASE ;)

Hi all, looking for Vienna 24/04/1999 if anyone's got it. My current boots folder is on the very small side so I don't have much to give in return if that's alright?

Welcome aboard!

I will have to search my stuff when I get back to my desk tonight, maybe someone else will be able to help you before then

Be careful though, collecting boots is addicting!

This is one I actually have, so here you go. I don't use a MEGA account, so hopefully Dropbox suffices, and it is in MP3 without any of the info files I've read are git important and that - hopefully this isn't too much of an issue.

Anyway, enjoy! - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qweryltm71c8qka/AABQedWEw_zWzHTbpPwgZII5a?dl=0

A couple of things   ....

Apologies for the 5 February 1975 upload - it wasn't on my list of officially released shows, but I fully understand

Secondly, I should be able to upload a link for the Vienna 1999 show today or tomorrow, in FLAC
