THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much for everything!

I have absolutely zero bootlegs, so these are all very much appreciated!

The only thing I have is the 5 radio broadcasts from 1978 (but not sure if these qualify as bootlegs).

Anyway, especially the Prodigal Son look very interesting, can't wait to listen to these!

Thanks again.

Does anyone think they should release this through the archive?

Assuming there's no issues in accessing the master recordings, that is...

OK perhaps I can be of some value! I just thought about this:

A couple of months ago someone mentioned these links (I forgot who it was, so sorry about that, all credits go to you!!)

http://www.ousterhout.net/mp3/bruce.html        <-- for MP3

http://www.ousterhout.net/lossless/bruce.html       <-- for FLAC

It has Main Point, the complete Lost Masters and 2009/11/07 (complete WIESS!) on it, among others.

There has been some discussion about this one on the archive rumours thread. I'm posting it here as much as a discussion point as well as to share. This one seems to have somewhat gone under the radar as I guess most people seem to gravitate towards the CC releases. To my ears this is one of the best sounding boots I've heard and the reason I find the latest archive release somewhat superfluous.

It is labeled as being a soundboard recording. I'm not 100% convinced it is a genuine SBD but if its an IEM, it is definitely one of the best around.

As mentioned in the other thread, more info can be found here:

http://springsteenbootlegs.blogspot.com/2012/08/madison-square-garden-2009-no-label.html

I'd be interested in what others think. BTW it includes the previous night in similar stunning quality!

I'll leave it up for a week or so.

In addition to what was already mentioned, a few others:

A Good Job In The City (Los Angeles 16.4.2009) and Got To Good (Atlanta 26.4.2009), both Godfather bootlegs, as documents of the first U.S.A. leg of the tour.

Frankfurt Dream Night (Crystal Cat, 3.7.2009). This show is sometimes secretly whispered to be the best show of the 2009 European Tour and some pundits claim the only reason it is not seen as such, is its location/country. And while I am the first to say a setlist on paper does not say anything, the setlist of this show is killer.

Out On A Midnight Run (Godfather), Baltimore 20 November 2009, the penultimate show of the tour. Full Born To Run album performance and the last time Jungleland was played with Clarence. At the time this was considered to be a better show than the last show of the tour in Buffalo 2 days later, despite the full Greetings album performance in Buffalo. It was also said the Baltimore show more had a feeling of 'the last dance [at least for some time]' than the Buffalo show.

This one is also claimed to be a SBD, and it does sound fantastic. The info that came with it is as follows:

"Somerville Theatre, Somerville, MA, USA, February 19 2003 Original Soundboard DAT Clone SBD>Dat>Dat Clone>Pro Tools>Wav>Flac Level 6 Sector Align>You SAMPLE: http://www.mediafire.com/?q45mg6lq4midusa Intro and Darkness are missing because there was a problem with the original DAT, too much diginoise. Enjoy. 101 - Adam raised A Cain 102 - My Father's House 103 - Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street? 104 - Growin' Up 105 - In Freehold 106 - Thunder Road 107 - Nebraska 108 - The River 109 - Sherry Darling 110 - Born In The U.S.A. 111 - Souls Of The Departed 201 - The Wall 202 - Bobby Jean 203 - My Hometown 204 - Brilliant Disguise 205 - Stolen Car 206 - Save The Last Dance For Me/It's The Little Things that Count 207 - If I should Fall Behind 208 - The Ghost Of Tom Joad 209 - Sinaloa Cowboys 210 - The Rising 211 - Waitin' On A Sunny Day 212 - The Promised Land"

I think it's probably actually a boot called "Somerville Story"

I would love to get my hands on those Godfather releases, I have hardly any of them and been trying in vein to get a hold of them, Been after the Man At The Top one as well! I agree with Frankfurt, another great great show indeed.
