Hi BTR

He was asking specifically for non-official version, which is ok.

Not even refer to officials Mick. It's not allowed!, just ask for the date!

Sorry but I can't see anything wrong here. He specifically requested a NON official recording, so there should be no confusion that there was an intention to receive the official version.

If he'd only given a date, where an official version also existed, then that may have been misconstrued, but that's not the case here.

anyway, @SamEJay, here you go:

Bruces set 5 songs: The river (With all artists); Cadillac ranch; Twist and shout; Chimes of freedom (with all artists); Get up stand up (With all artists) 16 Roger Scott outro. The 1980's was a golden decade for Springsteen, he opened the decade with The River then went on to produce the critically acclaimed "Nebraska" before releasing his multi million seller "Born In The USA". He had affairs, got married, released one of his finest works in "Tunnel of Love" whilst finding time to divorce from his wife and E Street Band. During this time he toured extensively on the back of each release, with the exception of Nebraska. By the time of the BITUSA tour he really was on a high, playing to millions around the world. In 1988 he undertook a whirlwind global stadium tour after the release of Tunnel of Love, then, when this came to a close he announced that he was joining the Amnesty International tour; a series of 20 dates around the world featuring Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Tracey Chapman, Youssou N'dour and others. This was Springsteen's first serious political statement - he had played MUSE in 1979 and other events, but never on this scale and never so vocal. It was also his first introduction to playing a series of shows with other musicians and probably acted as the catalyst in disbanding the E Street Band and subsequent recordings. The Amnesty tour rounded off with a concert in Argentina, a country at the time with it's own political and Human rights issues. Springsteen’s performances on the tour have been well bootlegged over the years, but this set features performances from all of the artists and commentary through interviews explaining what the tour meant to some of them, why they were doing it and why it was important. This set was broadcast as a 2hr special by the BBC between 8:30 and 10:30 pm on the 17th October 1988. It was hosted by the late great Roger Scott, who was for Springsteen in the UK what Ed Sciaky was in the US, and many would say the last credible DJ on mainstream UK radio. So, if you missed the Amnesty tour or have only heard the Bruce boots... This is what it was all about... Tech stuff

Thanks for help!!
