It’s a subscription only Sunday Newspaper. I will copy / paste here if you want.

Howay then - leave it to the prissy old aunt to comment on the use of that word … you know the word I mean.

A couple of rules being broken here? Foul language and taking a thread astray without the owner's consent?

There's probably a reason a link was provided - but we know that, don't we?

Duly noted and accepted. Indeed, apologies for the wordplay... excessive consumption of Jack Daniels and Dry is a reason but not an excuse

They'll clean it up in the morning.

Neither was that little boy - I cry every time I see that sad face - but look what happened to him. Santy sees what's in your heart - well, Joel does.

Right, here endeth the lesson - must get ready to meet the day … and stop watching Brandon in his Christmas hat and jumper.

Oh, ok, mebbies once more ...

I've lived in Scotland for 7 years now and even still I'm learning new words every single day.

I actually have a theory that a lot of Scottish people just make up words as they go along but saying "it's a Scottish word" is a handy and convenient excuse whenever I call them out on it.

I have no idea what I missed...

Back on topic, I cannot bring myself to buy the Sunday Times but, luckily, I have a friend who buys it every week and she will pass on the magazine to me.

I’m going to visit a friend in London in a few weeks, (and a couple Adam Ant shows ), and she said she’d try to get me one.

It's a pretty tough call, agreed. I'm going to hold my nose and do it, sorry.

I would have done the same if it wasn't for my friend!

Will he throw his bandana into the ring for a last-chance power drive? Springsteen laughs. “No, not in any way, in any form,” he says. “I’d be terrible.” In any case, he’ll soon be “back to my day job” — touring with the E Street Band, including venues in the UK. He will also release a new album, his first for five years: “For lack of a better word, it’s a singer-songwriter album — more of a solo record.” His fans would prefer to see “the Boss” on stage than on the stump, he says.
