SteveJhb
Anyone else enjoy Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee? New season uploaded a week or two ago. I enjoyed seeing Ricky again as well as Eddie Murphy and I found people like Matt Broderick funnier than I expected.

Prisoner was shown overseas under a different name Cell Block H. It was on forever but I only watched a couple of episodes. I did watch Porridge though. i only vaguely remember porrage that's really interesting about Prisoner it was a bit of a soap wasn't it

Sons of Anarchy? Soap opera with bikers. The Sopranos? Mobster soap. Walking Dead is a soap opera with zombies. Battlestar Galactica? Yeah, a soap opera of epic proportions. Breaking Bad? Yup. It's a soap opera with blue meth and tweakers. 1

janeymarywendy
Good acting by the girl (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) but very tough to watch.
janeymarywendy
Then I watched this. It's really good and focuses predominantly on the investigation instead of on the reporters' personal lives and families etc. I could not recognise Michael Keaton for ages, just kept thinking where have I seen this person before?? Mark Ruffalo was great.

JF, i've never seen nor had I heard of Little Lunch (have only just now googled it), but it is the term we used at primary school for the Morning Tea break. My favourite Australian series would be SeaChange. It takes a few episodes to settle down, but is well worth it. It resembles the Australia I grew up in and its people. There is a new series out now after a 20 year break. The show is a bit like Hamish Macbeth meets Northern Exposure but in an Aussie coastal context.
Jerseyfornia
Well, we're both well past the age of the target audience for Little Lunch. I landed on it somehow one day and I ended up watching the whole series. It was a funny light diversion. That fuckin' Rory, though.

It's a great modern day western with a classic lawman character and a deep mystery. The actress who plays Deputy Vic is Katee Sackhoff. She's Starbuck in the Battlestar Galactica remake. I'm watching her new show on Netflix now, Another Life. She's back in space as a badass starship captain again.
