newcastle roy
I've discovered a show on netflix called Springsteen On Broadway, it's about a rock and roll superstar. I recommend it, I've watched it 18 times already. 5 1

Promise61
The Ritual was very good. Stick it in the horror genre. Well made, very creepy. Before I Wake was also a good watch. Nice twist on an old theme.
Promise61
The Highwaymen was brilliant. Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, Kathy Bates in the true story of the hunt for Bonnie and Clyde. Harrelson is particularly good. Great score, too.

Tom-Joad
Just now, janeymarywendy said: What do you mean? Well, I'm Portuguese... and the work of some in the Portuguese police was really hard to believe. Not that I think that the parents should have been automatically cleared, but the way they insisted on that theory and focusing on that instead of on finding her is really embarassing. I guess those parents will never outlive the guilt of having left their children alone while they went for dinner and if they didn't have anything to do with it (as seems to be the case), now they also have to live with the idea that, had things beend dealt with differently, maybe they would have found her. 3

Tom-Joad
Just finished season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet. As far as light comedies go, doesn't get much better than this.

Finished watching all these episodes (and boy! are there a lot!) today. Started off really promising and creepy, but as it progressed I wondered if it was becoming a bit of a comedy. Quite a good twist at the end though. I think it would've made a really good 2-hour film.
Eileen
I've just watched The Discovery … cos Robert Redford's in it. Hmmm … well … it passed an hour or so. Left me thinking 'Eh?' The son didn't say what I thought he'd say at the end.

I didn't know about it until I watched the episode on Miami Showband, but I've watched all the available episodes and I'm seriously looking forward to this month's Devil At The Crossroads. I can't recommend this show enough.
