Jerseyfornia
What are some great movie soundtrack albums that you enjoy? I'm listening to this tonight. Mickey Gilley's great cover of Stand By Me, Joe Walsh's All Night Long, the studio version of Bob Seger's Nine Tonight, Johnny Lee's signature song, Hearts Against The Wind by Linda Ronstadt and J.D. Souther. Bonnie Raitt, Dan Fogelberg, Eagles, Kenny Rogers.I didn't care for the movie, but the album is great.
riverdude2
Great soundtrack, not so great movie (though I revisit it occasionally).

An old favorite that is still in my collection. I originally had it on a cassette that I bought at a yard sale and played repeatedly for months.
riverdude2
Here's another where the movie divided opinion. Whatever, it's a good soundtrack album. I also like Tom Petty's She's The One and (occasionally ), Saturday Night Fever.
THUE
I just located and purchased Fast Times at Ridgemont High on Vinyl. Some good and weird stuff on that collection. Some good use of song in that film.

JimCT
London original, or Broadway original?
JimCT
the Bruce and Neil tunes are so memorable, but the whole soundtrack just fit so well in the story

SteveJhb
Another personal favourite. If you're a Peter Gabriel fan, you'll know that the version on here of I Grieve is not the same mix as the final album version from Up, and is essential. 1
