AMIW
and for Yankees CBS is picking up the remaining Champions League/Europe league games this season , but it will of course be on an evil streaming service https://worldsoccertalk.com/2020/07/09/champions-league-moves-to-cbs-everything-you-need-to-know-about-new-us-rights-deal/ with most TGLITW teams already out (or in chelsea;s case unlikely to qualify) this basically just means JJ and Man City
AMIW
should chelsea (unlikely) or man city make it to the CL tournament they will presumably have to quarentine on return to blighty as the goverment just kept portugal on its do not return from list. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-53528490

dr winston oboogie
Wolves v Olympiacos was without doubt the best game since football restarted, two teams only interested in scoring more goals than each other and going for it the whole 90 minutes (isnt that what football "should" be all about). Wolves rode their luck throughout the game and over the piece Olympiacos were slightly the better team, but they were well matched and either could have gone through, Wolves dug in there hard and did very well to survive, well done to them and thanks to both teams for the entertainment. DarknessandHope
Juventus have sacked head coach Maurizio Sarri a day after being knocked out of the Champions League in the last-16 stage to Lyon. The former Chelsea and Napoli boss only took charge of Juventus in June last year, signing a three-year contract at the time, and led the side to a ninth consecutive Serie A title last month. I wonder if he was told before taking the job, win CL or you're gone. Seems harsh.
