I don’t know if ITunes from the entire week last week was already posted.  Apologies if it has.

Probably my friend @Cecilia Swedenneglected to buy her copy...

My husband ordered a copy for me almost three weeks ago, and it hasn’t arrived yet. So it’s slacking, yes.

What terrible fate! But have you heard some on the radio - you're right at the source, after all?

There is nothing like sitting down to listen from beginning to end, reading the lyrics booklet at the same time, however.

Hope you can indulge soon!

Now that’s an interesting theory! I might need to go and get my copy at the harbour when the slow boat arrives.

So do I! Thank you Berlintramp.  I bought the digital version, so I have it on iTunes, but I’ve only managed to listen to it once. I do want a cd to play in my car. And then go for a long drive. On my own. I need to be alone when I listen to Bruce.

Maybe I should've bought the actual CD...

Fwiw I still haven't bought Magic on CD. That, TracksThe PromiseSeeger and Western Stars are the Springsteen albums I don't own as physical media.

Well, one times physical CD bought in SA. Looks like a German print. As I predicted Sony SA don't appear to have printed it here. I haven't seen any in the CD shop.

At the end of the month I will order the vinyl version as well.

I think it could be a bit higher (close to 250K).

Here are some details and estimations for week 1 :

US : 63K, UK : 52K, GER 35 to 40K (est), FR : 18K-19K, IT : 14-15K (est), NED : 10K (est), SPAIN : 8K-10K (est), CANADA/AUSTRALIA : 6K, EIRE : 5K (est), JAP : 3K.

Western Stars is out of the Top 20 in the US for week 2.

So, the Moshe Dayan of pop is going beat Bruce in the US charts then. Shame.

No wonder.  She’s been doing quite a bit of promoting.  I went into my local Apple store a few weeks ago, and her album cover was the screen saver on every computer in the place.  Went back a few days ago...still there.

IDK if that’s just this store, or nation wide; and if it was a preference of the manager or paid promotion.  But if it’s nation wide paid promotion... Holy cannoli!
