I've seen a couple Frankie Fell in Love listed here. And could have listed that one also. But I didn't want to list that as i could have the whole Pittsburgh show.

Yeah, that show had quite a few rarities. We got Back in Your Arms that night as well.

I had forgotten Downbound Train- I had been chasing that one for a while, and finally got it (Nashville '14, I think).

I’ve heard that a few times.  So beautiful!

One of those times was at Shea Stadium... I was sitting close enough to see that Clarence had tears in his eyes.  Incidentally, so did I.

So very jealous of Rocky Ground. How did that come off to you during the live performance you saw?

I got that twice I think.  I thought it was excellent!!

I've managed to get it down to six.  Not necessarily favourite songs, but these were all memorable performances.

Drive All Night

Janey Don't You Lose Heart

Lost In The Flood

My Lucky Day

Roulette

Take 'Em As They Come

I've omitted covers, but if I'm allowed one more it would be Trapped.

This is tricky.  I have 48 songs that I've only heard once live.

1. Frankie Fell in Love

2. Brilliant Disguise

3. Don't Change (I am an Australian after all).

4. Roulette

5. Johnny Bye Bye (85 style)

hon mens: Stayin' Alive, Friday on my Mind. Wild Billy, Reason to Believe, Nebraska, I fought the law, Brilliant Disguise.

And about 50,000 of the rest of us ;)

As mybosstime won't let me enter my concerts for some unknown reason, I'll do the best I can from memory. As I've been lucky enough to be around for a while, and have a bunch of shows under my belt, my list of "one time only" songs is uncommon. I've seen things like Street Fightin' Man, Streets of Fire, Cynthia, and Janey more than once :o I'm a lucky dog, and grateful for the experiences.

Top 5 6

Drift Away - 8/20/84 Brendan Byrne Barn Arena hands down the most amazing moment

Open All Night - 8/11/84, Brendan Byrne Barn Arena

Follow That Dream - 8/17/84 Brendan Byrne Barn Arena

Walk Like A Man - 5/2/88, Shoreline

Frankie - 8/10/05, Portland

Trouble River - 8/1/99, Brendan Byrne Barn Arena

May I politely ask this song is in your list because it was a rarity or because it was -maybe- an unexpected good performance of a mediocre song?

(Or maybe you rate this song higher than most of us do; and nothing wrong with that).

In addition to the site that is already mentioned there is another one that will let you track your shows.

Springsteen Passport lets you pick what shows you went to and compiles how many songs from each album you have seen, how many times, etc.

Thank you for this!  I entered all my info, and got my stats... quite amazing actually.

Caught one definite mistake though.  April 4 2012 at Izod it lists Candy’s Boy in the set, which is incorrect.  We (thankfully for me!!) got Candy’s Room.  Candy’s Boy is fine, but I have no need to hear it live.  Now Candy’s ROOM, OTOH... could hear it at every show and be happy :).

Don’t know if there are any other errors, but that one jumped out at me.

Anyway... thanks again! I had no idea this existed.

I included it because I heard it once, because it was - as you say - an unexpectedly good performance (to be a one-off; there are regulars that aren't played as well) and yes, I like the song quite a bit. It's a throwaway, but I like its light-heartedness and the reverby 50's sound on the album.

Off the top of my head:

Jole Blon (Glasgow 13)

Independence Day solo piano (Paris 12)

Tunnel of Love (Barcelona 08)

Rendezvous (Manchester 99)

Kitty's Back (Dublin 03)

Honourable mentions: Real World (Glasgow 93)

The Wish (Edinburgh 96)

Night (London 03)

I've had Incident twice and I'm a veritable I'm Goin' Down-magnet - had it four times, I think.
