Western Stars movie UK premiere 11th October in London

Recommended Posts

Although there are no details of the UK general release schedule for the Western Stars movie, it’s got single showings at the  BFI (British Film Institute) Film Festival on 11th/12th/13th of October in central London. Tickets go on sale to BFI members this Thursday, 5th September, with open sale of any remaining tickets the following Thursday, 12th September.

Here’s further details for those of you who might be interested,

Me too. Was worth the price of a membership to snag tickets!

2nd row...could have had first but the nerves and website design messed it up.

Can’t wait. It’s strongly suggested by BFI that he’s attending.

I have just been told that all tickets for Friday have been sold, unless they are holding any back for general sale, of course. I was in the process of joining BFI when I heard!! Too late...

Looking at the seating plan, I think it’s all gone I’m afraid. All seats seemed to be available today.

I could be wrong though!

There’s still hope as I believe there’s a date later in the month when other tickets get released. People are also allowed to sell tickets on (with a cap of 20% over face value) so keep an eye out.

If he’s not bringing a guitar and band I’ll wait til it hits a local cinema or BluRay drops, I think.

There’s a handful of premier tickets available - go fast!

On main page scroll to bottom and enter code AMEX. Then search for Western Stars and go to pick your own seats.

Thanks for the heads up.  Got as far as ordering 2 tix then it (or I?) couldn't remember my user name! I'm sure I registered a couple of weeks ago.  So ... have to ring the box office ... which opens at 11.30am :( They'll all be gone by then.

I started all over again by registering again.  All going well until trying to pay.  Does it have to be by American Express cos I don't have American Express but it doesn't seem to accept my debit card.

Answers on a postcard please.

Yes, I have a feeling it has to be American Express today.  Tomorrow, when the tickets go on general sale (if there are any left!) they'll probably take other card payments.

Pleased it helped some.

Sorry I didn’t see it was Amex payments only...just saw a link this morning and thought I’d check if they had any seats going.

I am quite content to wait until it comes to A Cinema Near Me, ie somewhere within 20 miles.
