Well from 1985 - today Don Henley has put out 3 solo albums and 1 Eagles album.  = 4

Bruce from 2007 - today has put out 5 new albums and if you count The Promise and The Ties That Bind 7 albums, wrote a book, was on Broadway for a couple years.

wounderful point Jimmy

and don't forget putting a movie on the silver screen

Can no one post about another good song not Bruce-related here without these comparisons?

Now people have to justify how Bruce's output is better than Henley's all because of some harmless OP.

No wonder fans drive non-Bruce fans insane.

The question's been asked already....Why is it important to draw comparisons? Why does it have to be a competition between two different artists who both respect each others' work?

"Hello! McFly?! Anybody in there McFly??!

See Sally, I did the comparison to maybe show how Daisey maybe had thought Henley was a washed up old man at 38 and Bruce wasn't at 58?

And Dan's post above is really hurting my feelings. I'm leaving now.

I'm hard pressed to think of a band member whose solo work (for the most part) is so good - and what a voice! Boys of Summer is - hands down - my personal favourite "summer" song (even though that's not what it really is or was aiming to be). Last time he toured the UK solo I drove all the way to Glasgow just to hear The Last Resort because he was including it in the set (and The Eagles never do...…..have only heard them do it once, ON, the Hotel California tour in 1977)……...if I win the lottery in the next week or so I will be in Vegas for the full album run thru that they are doing "only in Vegas". End of the Innocence was a fine album!

With you all the way about the album, and especially The Last Resort. Surprised that Hello Newman not responded to this, as he's a massive fan too!

Wow - didn't know about the Mike Campbell link until watching this (presume he has a writing credit and this has been a nice little earner for the guy - one of the great sidemen!)
