Received an email from our friends at Badlands this morning.

Just booked our tickets.

Still hoping for a showing a bit closer to home. Birmingham is our nearest Odeon but, on the other hand, I don't want to hold on and find there are no tickets left.

fantastic thanks for heads up.  Our Vue is a better cinema but I'm not complaining unless it plays there too. Probably unlikely if they've sown up an exclusive deal with Odeon

Do you think they have done an exclusive? Badlands email said they weren't sure.

Its not on in Sheffield which is my closest one but is showing in Newark which is 30 miles away. It makes no sense to show it in a small market town but not a big city!!!

Tnx for the heads up.

But, that's one expensive ticket !  Only used to paying £4 normally.

I just went on to the Odeon website and looked at what's on. Selected Western Stars right down at the bottom of the list and it then asks you to select a cinema

I'm getting the feeling that it's just those who are in the likes of Badlands that are getting to book just now.

Ah well. :)

If you go to the Odeon website you can put in Western Stars, then you seem to have to select cinema, then it tells you. It is on in Durham but I couldn't see Newcastle.

Badlands only gave the heads up - no special access.

I have emailed Everyman cinemas to ask if they are showing it, if/when I get a reply I will post it here.

Those of you who have booked, does it look like tickets are selling fast? I really need to decide whether I am going into Brum or holding on...

Nor mine. :D

I'm hovering - almost 14 quid to go and see it?

Hmmm …. the jury's out ...
