  1. 1. Out of these two options which one would you like to see next tour?Personally I thought the Wrecking Ball tour stage lineup was so much better, absolutely loved seeing those 18(I think?) people kicking ass in unison,it was something special to behold.

    • Wrecking Ball 12/13 stage line-up(horns,singers etc.)
      39
    • River 16/17 stage line-up

The Other Band, with Tom Morello doing lead vocals on all songs.

And some HT-LT era songs too.

Tom Morello doing lead vocals on Pony Boy- yippee yay!

Yay, we get to fuck!

Definately the Wrecking Ball line-up with the horns and choir. Fantastic sound which enhanced what were already great songs. One of the best ESB tours ever.

Because we aren't at that point in the album cycle yet. We are still at the "Second coming of baby Jesus" just barely starting to creep into "eh, it's fine" part of the cycle. Just give it t

The fact that "Spare Parts" hasn't been played with the E Street Band in any fashion in over 30 years is a shame in general

The fact most Tunnel songs were not played with the ESB since 1988 is a shame.

Personally I call it the Whatchamacallit-Thingymabob-Dohicky band.

That is still better than 'The Shane Fontayne Band'.

It is even still better than 'The Other Band'.

Ok, whoever is voting for the first option, I expect you to be able to name all 18 (or whatever) members of the Wrecking Ball band without looking it up.

  1. Springsteen
  2. Van Zandt
  3. Lofgren
  4. Weinberg
  5. Bittan
  6. Tallent
  7. Giordano
  8. Scialfa
  9. Tyrell
  10. Clemons
  11. Manion
  12. Danielian
  13. Rahm
  14. Gayton
  15. Bradley
  16. Moore
  17. Mizelle
  18. King Jr.
  19. Morello*

I think that's all of them.

Of course, there's no way to prove whether I did or didn't look this up. So in the event they're all included it genuinely was off the top of my head, but if not and I've left off a key member of the band, I didn't use any source so... *shrugs*

I’ll take your word for it and my hat’s off to you!

back to basics, and a strong solid show of about two and a half hours without too much nonsense, such as requests, people on stage and so on.

Disagree.  Requests are the best chance of getting a rarity, or at least a non-regular song.

I absolutely agree with you. If it weren't for some hard core nut in the Glasgow crowd back in 2013 with his/her Jole Blon sign I would never have discovered what a superb track it was. And as it was, it was one of the most joyful moments on a beautiful evening crammed full of them.

Agree with that.  I loved when he collected the signs though.  That way they weren’t in anyone’s face the entire show.  Or in his face as he’s signing...

I personally also love the banter and crowd interaction.  DITD dancers and Sunny Day kids included.  Wait, maybe that sentence belongs in the unpopular opinions thread...

Also, I ADORE Charlie, no way I’d want to see an E Street tour without him!  No way I’d ever want to see an E Street tour without Jake either!

i love Charlie

he was a huge surprise to me in Moncton just how wounderful his playing is

maybe the signs need to be managed better

its not fare when they inhibit the employment and block the view of other concert goers

its attention seekers who rile me the most

and what's with people with signs of set list regulars....???

the best signs are the ones that say Thank you Bruce / ESB

or

we love you (insert band member's or Bruce's name)

Ooooo... sorry DJ, but no matter how amazing that guitar solo might be; I can’t imagine ESB songs written to have that iconic sax sound replaced with a guitar solo.
