Does a full band song whose vocal track(s) have been removed count as an "instrumental" by your definition?

I know its not what you're asking for, but this bluegrass tribute band's album of instrumental covers is pretty good.  I'm not aware of too many actual instrumental songs played by Bruce and the E Streeters, except for Paradise by the C
