OOOOOOH MYYYYY FUUUCKING GOOOOOOD

THIS IS SO ABSOLUTELY FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

I AM ECSTATIC!!!

Winterland 15 dec. '78 is my most listened live show by Bruce, and I can't wait to hear the official release!!!!!!!

It features the best fucking Backstreets in my humble opinion. The prove it all night intro might also be the best one out there.

AND NOW WE GOT 16 DEC. TOO!!!! A show I've never ever listened too.... So I'm really looking forward to these!!!!

THESE ARE AMAZING SHOWS (and they don't even feature lost in the flood) SO LET'S BUY THEM PEOPLE!!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS

uhm, something terrible is going on, I cannot download the shows. Usually, after purchase, you can click on the date&name of the show and it starts downloading, but now it's not a link.... It just says "WINTERLAND 1978 (2 SHOWS) MP3$17.99"  and when I click on it, nothing happens!? :(

Alright, luckily I am able to download them from the "my downloads" menu!!! But I am a bit amazed as to why 15/12/1978 is listen twice

nothing...NOTHING....comes close to the exhilaration of seeing/hearing/listening to a Darkness tour show. The Darkness tour is, has always been & will always be the essential quintessential live Springsteen experience. I have yet to see any show from any subsequent tour that matches/surpasses what I experienced in the summer & fall of 1978. Thank you Nugs.Net for this Christmas holy grail.

Wow, another Darkness show that everyone already has - how original.

I would agree with this; if it was only 15 December 1978.

Edit: but I am very happy for everyone for who 15 December 1978 is indeed the Holy Grail.

Ironic the only 1978 radio show left now is Atlanta. As Atlanta was the show which most needed an official release due to the bad weather conditions in the U.S.A. South during the radio broadcast.

Edit: and because Atlanta has the greatest ever versions of Prove It All Night, Backstreets and She's The One and this show is very underrated compared to the other 4 radio shows from 1978.

Since all the other broadcasts seem to have been recorded, I think it would be safe to assume that Atlanta was too. But...on the other hand, wasn't the show postponed? Could be that it wasn't recorded because of that. Here's hoping it was recorded.

About Winterland: I sort of like the fact that it had to be patched with another recording in places and that it's from an inferior source compared to night 2. It's gotta be Bruce's most famous bootleged show (or 2nd most famous, Passaic maybe being at the top), and these two little things still brings a bit of bootleg feeling to the show. My first bootleg was incidentally a single CD with tracks from this show. Funny then, that it's night two that has the multitrack recording. It was SO hard to track this show down in the early 2000's, I had the hardest time trading something for this show and the 1st show in Pittsburgh, April 25th 2000.

Yes Atlanta and some other shows in the South were postponed because Bruce was iĺl.

better than porn

That's why Winterland had Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and not Pilgrim In The Temple Of Love.

Shit, I was rather hoping they would hold back on this one & make it an official release not just a dodgey old cdr which deteriorate after about 5 plays.

Is 'Quarter to three' complete on the 15th or cut at the start as on the boots? I am wondering how they can patch it with the radio tape if the song was not broadcast?
