Springsteen official live DVD's

Recommended Posts

Of the officially released live concerts, how many are complete single performance?

Tempe has songs missing.

Live in Dublin has songs missing.

Live in NYC is different nights spliced together.

Unplugged was incomplete, I think.

Is it just Hammersmith / Barcelona / Phoenix or are there songs missing there as well.

There seems surprisingly few considering the popularity of the Archive series...

Hammersmith, Barcelona and Houston are the only complete concerts, yes.

And London Hyde Park 2009.

Likely a complete show from the BUSA Tour-probably L.A. 1985, 30 September 1985 or 2 October 1985 (the two last shows of the tour) will be in the inevitable BUSA Box.

And still waiting for the Tunnel Tour DVD  (also in Los Angeles, the two last shows of the 5-show stand in L.A. were filmed).

Complete concerts in that all songs are there, but both Barcelona and Houston have bits of songs edited out. Off the top of my head, Sunny Day has a segment missing and Quarter To Three is heavily and noticeably edited

Very true, I thought about mentioning the edit in Houston. Wasn't aware of an edit in Barcelona, and a bit embarrassed (well, almost...) that I forgot about Hyde Park...

So, that actually only leaves Hammersmith and Hyde Park.

The full Darkness album  performance from Paramount 2009, if that counts.

But even that was a compilatie from 2 Darkness performances  (on the same day) so actually no.

Some songs had two takes, that was defiantly cut. But I think no missing songs.

I strung the unplugged performance together from the CD and youtube

Though not necessarily a traditional Bruce show, the MusiCares tribute concert DVD is complete, including a five-song set from Bruce.
