03/28/88 Detroit, MI - New Nugs release!

Good one. Since I already own the official Nugs release of what I personally consider the ultimate show from that tour (Stockholm, July 3) I'll give it a pass, but still...good one.

Gonna be honest with you all...

For as much as I've wanted "Walk Like a Man" the last few years, I look at this setlist and only one thing is crossing my mind.

I'm hype for this '88 version of "The Medley".

If you like horns, listen very closely and you might just hear them in the mix.

Is not Mountain View 3 May 1988 the ultimate Tunnel Tour show?

It’s got my vote but Stockholm is a monster in its own right. The first half of that show is faultless and as good as anything I’ve heard him do live. The segue from Roulette into Cover Me into Briliant Disguise is just brilliant.

Mountain View probably more representative of the early show structure and initial themes.

The Second Best Cover Ever !!!!.....And one of the last of the  "classic" versions ..... Probably not spending 10 bucks to hear it ....But am definitely hoping it pops up on you tube at some point !!!!

It shoulda been #1, man.

I've realised the errors of my ways. Down with "Trapped", "The Medley" all the way.
