I'm only a causal Bowie listener, so this album would be my top 10

Much the same. I'd have to think about which track to replace with The Laughing Gnome though :P

when i was 12 i sat beside this girl at intermediate school - her name was Justine Taylor- she was my best friend

she was bordering on academically gifted

we were polar opposites - her mum and dad owned an art gallary and they voted labour !

teachers loved her and they ignored me

they kind of lived in the country (down the bay) and had an outside toilet !

anyway she loved David Bowie

she wrote Bowie on my ruler !

she had all his records - which in 1983 was still quite alot

i never got any further in the back catalogue in those days than golden years ! but i went to see a ziggy statdust concert film with her

over the years as my Bruce fandom grew I've thought a lot about her and when David Bowie died i cried some tears for her too

incidently i only have/had 4 albums and i think of those  my sister took the vinyl or threw them out when mum sold the family home and moved to Christchurch

i saw ziggy statdust at the movies but it was way too out there for me

but i learnt 2 things today

the 2 cd set best of Bowie released in 2002 had different track listing for the 21 different territories it was released in which now explains to me why space odisy was never on mine

also i knew he had recorded some Springsteen tracks but i had no idea the meeting between the two of them way back in the early 70s had not gone well with Bruce being too shy and David being too weird

10 is way too few, but here we go:

Heroes
Ashes To Ashes
Strangers When We Meet
Heaven's In Here
Width of a Circle
Sweet Thing
Here Today Gone Tomorrow
Rock & Roll With Me
Let's Dance
Rock & Roll Suicide

My formative Bowie experiences were David Live, Tin Machine, and the Ziggy concert movie - which explains most of this.
