One of Bruce’s most electrifying performances. I love the way during the g-c chord progression it sounds like he’s playing the intro to Darkness on the Edge of Town.

Great choice, surely has to be one of, if not the, best cover he's ever done. The guitar playing is magnificent, and the vocal too, the way his voice cracks at one point. So much emotion in this performance.

One for hardcore fans this, with rasping vocal and mumbled lyrics but there is just something magical about it. I love it.

Quite partial to this one. Is the entire show available pro-shot like this clip? One of my favourite archive releases.

Unfortunately, it is not. Be great if it was.

This is also one I revisit regularly. I've mentioned before, in a previous discussion of Bruce covering songs, that what I really like about it is that some clear thought and planning obviously went into the arrangement. This isn't just bashing out a 50's oldie like Summertime Blues or even a more recent song like, say, Don't Change that he did on this same tour.. this is reworked and rearranged for the band at hand, in the spirit of earlier reworkings like I Want You or It's My Life in the 70's

As good as anything from the 'classic' years IMO

Yeah for sure and his look at 2:13 always gets me. Clearly happy with it all. I bought the Albany gig as well but the performance not close to the Brisbane one.

Another favourite. I've watched both Brooklyn performances but in this one Nils just 100% nails the solo and the note his hits @ 4:30 with Steve turning around incredulously always get me.

I was lucky enough to be at both of those amazing Brooklyn shows.  Yes, Nils was his usual incredible self...
