What would you say is Bruce's best vocal performance, singular song wise?

The studio version of New York City Serenade. As a whole, I think Bruce’s voice sounded the best in the Born in the USA and Tunnel of Love eras. I can’t think of a vocal performance from 1984-1988 I don’t like. Studio or live.

From that show alone, "Real World" is unbelievable. Listening to it makes me mad that he didn't preserve it as a tender piano number on Human Touch.

I couldn't agree more! It's a fantastic performance that gives me Brucebumps every time I listen to it.

The solo acoustic If I Should fall Behind from Leeds Arena in 2013 is also stupendous.  Even the idiots who shouted out during it can't steal the majesty of the singing.
