I just today find out the river is

'No Wedding day smiles '

I always thought  It's

'No Wendy smile '.

I was like who the hell is Wendy ?It's really confusing Because the character is Marry

And in Jersey girl .down the shore Everything is alright .I Misheared as down the show .well It's still fine

The character is Mary ;)

Rosalita:

"She'll be there in that Chevrolet restaurant upstairs". For many years I was baffled as to what a Chevrolet restaurant was. And as WIESS didn't have lyrics on its sleeve I had no way in those pre-internet days of being put out of my misery.

I always thought it was something about a checkered linen restroom

I initially heard "there's something happening somewhere baby, I just don't exist" (DITD).  Frankly I like that better.

A friend's son thought "Adam Raised A Cain" was "I'm Always The King".

"Grabbed you baby like a wild pitch" always troubled this baseball fan, since if the catcher grabs it, by definition it is not a wild pitch.

Did you really hear it that way, or did you just think that it was funny?

He just thought it was funny.

It is not funny, really, and I guess you thought the same.
