I went with Janey, though who knows what I’ll think in the long term? It is interesting that, as of the time of this post, over 50% of the votes are for 2 of the songs written almost 50 years ago.

I think it's wonderful and a testament to the man's immense talent that the sheer variety of styles in his songs still provoke such a wide range of tastes and opinions amongst his fanbase after all these years.

Can't believe Song for Orphans hasn't got one vote yet.  For me lyrically it's brilliant, and a better song than Janey needs a shooter. Out of the three old songs If I was the Priest is in my opinion the best though.

Priest top of the pile for me, as this recording is an epic of a track. But impossible to pick a runner-up as so many are worthy of it.
