God, just realised that apart from LTY, the only 2 new bits of music I've bought this year are  Imploding the Mirage by the Killers and this

Which actually originates in 2008 in an EP called The Start but finally got it's full release this year. And is quietly brilliant. 

Must try harder next year...

Kris Drever brings back a few memories,I bought Black Water & must have seen him live around that time,have a vague memory that I saw him & Heidi Talbot performing together around that time.

very rarely listen to new music these days I have enough to keep me going i am a bit of a stuck in the past sort musically but I hear some good stuff on radio 2 sometimes but it dosent stick with me,  get under my skin if you like, only Bruce can do that, as i get older my attention span gets less and less maybe my hard drive in my head is full and cant take any more!!!

Aw Black Water was a great album (Though I think his new one is his best solo album)

 

Lau are my favourite band going just now - so inventive and clever with their music, beautiful tunes and songs and a fantastic collaborative philosophy
