NBCSN to cease broadcasting

Recommended Posts

Will be interesting to hear how they spin it on broadcasts the rest if this season. Peacock awaits, no doubt. I’d be shocked if they let it go after all the work to date.

Premier league deal ends next summer 2022

nhl deal ends this year.

NASCAR deal runs til 2023

Thanks for that info. Then they're on the hook for all next season, including whatever obligations are specified for number of games broadcast, etc. We'll see what happens.

Fox sports channel in all its guises kept me sane from 1998 to 2013... I still miss Lionel and Michelle broadcasting from some remote part of Canada.. Winnipeg and later from Los Angeles it was rob stone and warren Barton

rebecca and the 2 robbies kept us going since 2013

rest in peace footie on telly

Well my daughter gave us a year subscription to Peacock for Xmas. It's only $50.00 a year. Right now.

They can always move footie to CNBC, MSNBC, USA, and so on

I will honestly be surprised if footie is anything less than 100% streaming next season,

don’t think we will see anything on their cable networks

No tweets from the 2 robbies probably silenced by the corporate overloads

and yesterday’s game was a raw ,world, feed no pre  show, halftime or anything probably what we will get in the future

As we get closer to the end of footie on regular tv in the usa :(

Some shuffling of leagues in Euroland amongst the evil streaming megacorps

paramount + (cbs) has taken  serie a from espn +

espn + (abc) has acquired @dr winston oboogiebeloved La liga from bein

And keeps bundesliga which it acquired from fox this season

the next one up for bid is TGLITW with peacock (nbc) rights running out next summer

Well Andrew, yet again La Liga is providing the most exciting end to the league across the whole of Europe, with two weeks to go four YES FOUR teams are still in the hunt for the title, favourites have to be Atletico Madrid (that is correct NOT Bacelona OR Real Madrid) who have two games against bottom half teams and if they win both they win the league.

remember when NBC showed all 10 final day games on different channels

well even though they have shut/sold 2 of those networks they still have 8

but on final day this season they are only showing 5 games

and with nbcsn shutting down i think we will be lucky to see 3 next season

Farewell dame Rebecca Lowe and the two robbies

wew will get a few weeks of the TGLITW at the start of the season and then they will turn off the lights, not clear where that will broadcast from when they close the nbcsn building

Won't they just move over to the Peacock station?

Yes but nbc is exiting the studios they use for hockey (that is going to another network) and footie
