Still a great player though...Remember going to see him on tour in '76 when 'Comes Alive' was blowing up. Great show but...Ugh ...The screaming chickies were so annoying! Thank God I was too young to ever see the Beatles live.

Back when, a friend of mine and I got this idea.  We set up 2 stereo systems in his garage and dropped the needle on 2 copies of this record at the same time and turned both stereos up loud.  Police were called.  It took them like 3 minutes to get our attention due to the noise (and perhaps the ingestion of an illegal smokable substance).  I still cannot believe they just let us go after we agreed to reduce the volume to something less than a jet plane on takeoff.

Especially after, when they admonished us not to drive for a while, my friend replied "oh don't worry we're too stoned to drive."

I think I played this album every single day for an entire Summer (at least). Sometimes in the dark with the headphones on. :)

Maybe better even! And the screaming chickies are Moms and Grandmas now, so they don't scream as much anymore! :P

Peter's son, Julian, is a very talented musician in his own right.

And I just stumbled across this- love it! Especially the second song:
