I agree with the 3 post above from JB.

So in the current rankings...

#1 Georgia won easily against a cupcake

#2 Alabama won by a TD at home to a ranked opponent (#21)

#3 Oregon lost by 31 on the road to a ranked opponent (#23)

#4 Ohio State was up 49-0 at home to #7 Michigan State and won 56-7

#5 Cincinnati won by 34 at home, was up 34-0 after the 3rd and gave up a couple garbage time TDs in the 4th

#6 Michigan won by 41 on the road

#8 Notre Dame won 55-0 at home

#9 Oklahoma State is up 23-0 with a couple minutes left.

#10 Wake Forest lost by 21 on the road.

#1 and #5 are the only undefeated teams.

I would think that Oregon has to fall to at least #6, maybe as far as 8.

Michigan State has to drop behind Notre Dame and Oklahoma State to #10, maybe more.

So my guess on the new rankings.

1. Georgia

2 Alabama

3. Ohio State

4. Cincinnati

5. Michigan

6. Notre Dame

7. Oregon

8. Oklahoma State

9. Michigan State

10. Baylor

Of those the only 1 that I am confident about is Georgia at #1.  I can see Ohio State moving up to #2, Michigan jumping over Cincinnati into the top 4, and 6-10 being completely wrong.

Anyone else think that if Cincy and Notre Dame both win their final games next week that somehow ND will mysteriously jump to 4th?

Nope, never happen.  The Committee wouldn't put a school with a larger fan following and 1 loss above the undefeated team that gave it that loss.

If Cincy struggles with East Carolina, anything is possible.  Money talks, and ND=$$$.

Of course Bama losing could make that a moot point.

Yer, we need @judyg to check in and let us know she didn't traumatize the giant puppies with her celebration.

Go Blue!!

The giant puppies are taking partial credit. Early in the 3rd quarter, Denali was really antsy so I took him for a very short walk. I got back just a few minutes later, and Michigan had scored a touchdown while we were gone. I decided that was good karma, so I immediately took Layla for a short walk. Sure enough, I walked in the door like 4 minutes later, and we had scored another TD.  I was out for a total of like 7 minutes and we scored twice. Good doggies!

Great day to be a Wolverine!

I hope that wasn't their only walk of the day.
