Heartbreaking, funny, deep... and I've only read the first four paragraphs so far (plan on reading it all at home later, where I can cry, cry, cry)

Excellent !!!

Heartbreaking, funny and deep it is. Leave it to Bruce. He can bleed through his pen (or keyboard) like no other. Just beautiful.

Aw hell, I didn't even notice that they'd also uploaded the video tribute to Danny.

Many, many thanks to Bruce, et al, for sharing this beautiful tribute with tramps like us!

Oh my goodness.... that is some read. Moving, funny, poetic, and just a fantastic eulogy. Heartfelt. I cannot find the words.

The video is also very moving, but it is the words that I find most inspiring. I am grateful that Danny's family, and Bruce, have allowed this into the public domain. A mark of the relationship between the band and the fans.

Finally get to hear Bruce's recollection of the famous Clearwater show- and the bit about staying in touch with Joe McCarthy (Midddletown police chief) makes me smile, having been in that crowd soooo long ago-a beautiful eulogy, which should surprise no one-SB
