Which Bruce song are you listening to right now?

May come as no surprise but still playing WS, album as a whole, over and over. Just can't help it, it's some kinda addiction,.... but a nice and rewarding one.

Never has a Bruce song grown on me so much since first hearing it.

Prove It All Night, Landover, 8/4/81.

Edit: I googled because there's so much confusion it seems about Largo or Landover;

I mean, the '78 show that's on video, which is it? Or the 1980 one?

So I got this result:

There are 5.21 miles from Largo to Landover in northwest direction and 9 miles (14.48 kilometers) by car, following the MD 202 route. ... Largo, MD and Landover, MD are in the same time zone (EDT). Current time in both locations is 4:08 am.

Brucebase says Largo, the artwork says Landover - which is it?

(wait - how the fuck could it be 4:08 a.m. there now? It's 8:43 p.m. there now!)

I asked this question also some time ago on this forum (because I was confused too), and got this answer: the venue is (or was?) where the borders of Largo and Landover meet each other.

So the venue is in both Largo and Landover. Or the front door is in Largo (or Landover) and the back door is in Landover (or Largo).

Or the ladies toilets are in Largo (or Landover) and the men's toilets are in Landover (or Largo). Or something like that.

Out In The Street, Landover, 8-4-81, hot version!

The whole show was said somewhere (on Brucebase probably) to be one of the hottest shows ever.

One of the best shows of The River tour.

no love for the losin' kind in life....or peace of mind...just when dead.

I like this version of this song.

"I do believe I'd be better off dead...let 'em shave off my hair and put me on that killing line"

Kinda boring I guess, but it is still WS as a whole album I'm listening to. No need to pick a particular song, just the whole thing yeah. It tastes better then some great meal, so there are enough vitamins and nutrition in it.

Incident On 57th Street, Providence, Rhode Island, 7/20/75, opening night of the BTR tour, "A Star Is Born"

INCREDIBLE!!!

Yes a fantastic show!

You would not say it was the first show of the tour if you did not know it.

Contender for greatest ever version of NYC Serenade from this show also.

Yes absolutely fantastic show, and agreed, NYC Serenade rules from it.

And Max's drum sound on that is incredible, the dynamics, the whole thing.

Really terrific recording too.
