Mostly when I'm in the Lake, I'm listening to Bruce at the same time. Right now I am listening to New York City Serenade from The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle. Which Bruce song are

The Promised Land - Survival Bowl.

Live 75-85: Candy's Room... I'm listening on laptop in work.

today, '84, opening night at the Brendan Byrne Barn Arena - my skin tingles at the memory of that night!

My votes for hottest opening 3-packs of the fall leg - 8/5, 8/20, 9/14 (Phriday Night in Philly ;)) and 11/8

Yes, I was at half of these 10 shows, including both opening and closing nights :)

Man! I really love the August 20th show which I have (it is topped though by the LA show later that tour). I envy you, but in a good way. When I watched Tempe 1980 last night it struck me how well everything has aged. Yes, it's the '80s, but you never get the feeling it's old. To have heard that Born In The USA opening would have been dynamite live.

Trapped, today '84 @ Brendan Byrne Barn Arena

First heard (and saw) this song a few months ago on the London 2009 DVD. Fell in love with it immediately. My favorite is version is the LA 85 one.

today, '85, This Land is Your Land

Brought into the setlist for the end of the stadium leg for the first time, this was unique in such a large setting. I had gone to meet my new friend Dean, who I "met" trading cassettes thru the back pages of Backstreets. 35 years later we still share music on FB :) We were about on 2d base IIRC. The sound was not the best, and I have to say that, compared to the exquisite crowd singing at Wembley for Twist & Shout, the Cleveland audience was way worse. But it was a classic old baseball stadium, and I'm still glad I went.
