Which Bruce song are you listening to right now?

Recommended Posts

Jackson Cage! (studio version)

The song I sometimes describe as the most underrated song Bruce Springsteen has ever written.

A fantastic song, surely in my top 20 favourite Bruce Springsteen songs.

The Promised Land - Survival Bowl.

Live 75-85: Candy's Room... I'm listening on laptop in work.

Lost In Flood!

NYC 1 July 2000.

That it is fantastic performance, probably the definitive performance of the song, needs no explanation.

Been listening to this today in the car. Still think Western Stars is a bloody masterpiece of an album. Just full of great songs. Music and lyrics wonderful. The film CD just makes the songs even more spectacular with the big orchestral arrangements.

Good afternoon MacBruce.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I will revisit Western Stars. I saw the movie before listening to the album and loved the movie only for Springsteen and never gave the album a chance. So as not to make the same mistake -- I'm quite the blonde -- I listened to Letter To You for days before the film and it made the film so much better: I loved it! :D

Best. Sunshine
