I have two motorcycles again. For a poor bastard like me, two is a fleet.

im at the chemist waiting for Gary's prescription for his eyes and a wee baby girl just collected her script (well her Dad did ) and her name was Chevrolet (slightly embarrassing because the lady behind the counter thought she was a boy)

actually i do love the name - better than calling a kid Ford  (that would be child abuse)

hee hee

we wont like M cars in our family

primaerly Mitsubishi and Mazda aka Ford - Fix Or Repair Daily or for 4x4s Found

i think  people who love cars generally love Fords ....or they don't

not that i don't still care about the people who work in Ford plants (poor bastards ) but i love me my General Motors

do you remember that Jessie James show where they outrageously customized cars  and they made that Ford explorer into a Rubbish truck (to pick up wheelie bins) we thought that was hilarious!!!

Gary's eye Doctor Mr Gupta is leaving Wanganui (this is his 2nd eye doctor leaving Wanganui) both from stress

he says its really hard being the only optomoligst and its such a specialised feild - eye doctors actuly now days specialize in different parts of the eye

we are very sad

he is very good and very opliging

Gary is getting lazer surgury on Wednesday - the appointment book is full but the doc said just turn up here at 10 pm

its not fare that for whatever reason doctors are put in a stressful situation

he has only been here a year and before that was in Singapore and he could fly home to India to see his mum and dad often

interesting he was talking about the flu

Singapore and India get the flu ahead of the southern hemisphere so he's weary about when to take his little family back to India for a visit

he said what he does love about Wanganui is no traffic (we definatly agree with that !) he says as the only optomoligst he is really struggling learning the admin side of Wanganui hospital

intil the health board hire a replacement he is going to run clinic on Wednesday for his acute patients who are in danger lossing their site (that's not Gary but he needs 2 weekly monitoring - a doc from either Palmerston nth or New Plymouth is going to be covering a few days a week - hopefully to see Gary )

I've just joined a gym! Gave up the last one 19 years ago when I started back at work full time.  Oh dear, is my heart ready?

I can't believe why other people's suffering still hurts me so much, suppose we'll never get used to it, cause I know that somewhere out there somebody feels exactly the same way I do.

I stood outside John Lewis yesterday whilst hunting for a Barbour jacket, decided they wouldn't sell them, then came home to check online and see which was cheapest.

John Lewis.

So … guess where I'm off to again today …..

Shopping in Eldon Square makes my brain freeze. I saw the name and thought they'd just sell their own stuff. What? Doh!

They didn't have the right size or colour and I wasn't paying over a hundred quid for something I didn't really want. I've just ordered the right colour and size but at least I know it's the right type so happy enough. And it was over 30 quid cheaper than Fenwicks … a quid cheaper than JL.

How much choice there is in the shops - too much for me.
