Yes, I've been on a downward trajectory ever since I graduated from university.

Has anyone been uplifted (sans elevator and/or escalator)?

Sort of, kind of.  In 1971, I met a guy from New Jersey whose name was Brice Springsteen.  Damn good musician!  I never met the superstar guy with the same name.  However, I did root for him along the way.  ;)

Now to answer your thread question:  No!  As The Who might say "meet the new normal, same as the old normal".

Do you live in a state, province and/or country where weed is finally legal?

no

but its going to be a referendum in the next general election in September

i see it going 2 ways

see covid 19 completly dominates the news - amendments to the abortion law making abortion not a criminal offence was able to be quietly passed through just as we went into lockdown but im not sure in the present covid 19 saturated environment if that will work for or aganist legalizing pot

the latest poll says a majority oppose legalization but as they say a week is a long time in politics and the election is 4 months away and there are alot of other issues that also need the media spotlight

(btw i was born in 1971:lol:)

are you green fingered ?

I did. They had a booth at Dundee railway station and I recorded Summer Nights and something else - probably All My Loving. You got a little disc that was playable on a record player. One was funny cos my cousin and brother popped their heads round the door and made funny noises … Goon-type noises … and put me off. You could hear me huffily saying 'Awww, you made me forget it!' :D

Anyway where were we? Ah yes ...

Do you remember most childhood memories fondly?
