I crossed stitched a friend’s wedding invitation.  Blank canvas; a book with instructions on how to create the letters; a friend drew the roses that were on the side of the invitation on graph paper s

No - wouldn't dream of it.

Are you standing at your door tomorrow to acknowledge those who died during the wars?

If that's what you guys are doing

I was really hoping the RSA would do something for 11 nov as Anzac day was scaled back to hardly anything this year

Now that most of the board has had their way do you think we can get the FC back ?

Well normally id be inviting you all down here to experience a summer Christmas

But the way covid is going  we'll be lucky ourselves (NZers) to be going anywhere before winter

Although there is now (more) talk about a Cook island travel bubble

And also the Aussie travel bubble

I would like to visit Tasmania - they are talking about doing direct flights between Tassie and NZ but id also like to visit our Charts islands so far east of here they have their own time zone separate from the rest of NZ

Anyway so back to you northerners

Going anywhere for Christmas?

Work related stuff keep me awake. Usually I fall right to sleep those nights, but wake up at like 3am and at 3:30am I just get up, and go to work.

Do you watch your nightly local/national news?

One coffee with breakfast, maybe two teas during the day.

Are there more shops open (if you're in lockdown) in your part of the world than during the first lockdown (if you had one)?

Ill speak as though i lived in Auckland which thank God we dont

But the 2nd lockdown - Auckland region only was pretty much like the first total lockdown except takeaways were open

Do you have a plan B for Christmas?

I don't have a plan A or a plan B for Christmas. Too early ... and it'll come and go as every other day does.

Have you become more or less tolerant of people since Lockdown?

I aim to go down to Morpeth centre tomorrow tea-time so that I can see the Christmas lights. Put on early with no singing to cheer everybody up.

Do you like it when the streets are lit up with Christmas lights?

Nah.....would be ok if it was just 48 hours.

Have you ever been sacked ?

I have had a very bad experience many years ago now i took to the employment court and got a moral if not finacial victory (lawyer not overly great)

Lets just say i was put in a situation so i would leave

I learnt a valuable leason about doing some homework on the employer before accepting a job

The day i was at arbitration it was the arbitrator's 2nd case from the same employer that day

No. Happily, yours is.

I'm looking across at two windows full of Christmas decorations - has anybody near you got their tree etc up already?
