Yesterday - I do it often, usually while watching telly. I can be watching Antiques Road Show, keen to see what an item fetches in auction ... then I wake up and the next programme's on. Ha!

Do you mind getting older?

No, it happens to all of us ... if we're lucky.

Have you sent all your Christmas cards yet?

Two, shirt and a jacket.

Longest Road Trip you've made?

We tend to drive a lot on our holidays 3000 km just cruising around down south

But a single journey without an over night  stop Wellington to Auckland

PSA anyone planning a trip to NZ we recomend a night in Picton when arriving in the South island via the inter island ferry service from the North island

The way those boats get delayed by the weather it is not worth risking falling asleep at the wheel when (from personal experience) one has been up since 4 to catch the 6am ferry that was delayed and not arriving in Picton (a 3 hour sailing in average wheather) till after 4pm

There is just enough to do in Picton to fill in a day

When was the last time you took a ferry?

Had to check - enjoyed some time looking at photos from the trip - August 2017. Newhaven to Dieppe ... actually, Dieppe to Newhaven was the last crossing. :)

Tell you what ... some may recall me mentioning a good pal of mine, Val, having problems this year and that she'd recovered. Well, this was in Dieppe - we'd parted company (or so we thought) earlier then met again at the beach. That was her laughing cos I'd been unaware that she was behind me - I was so intent on enjoying my ice cream ... then the penny dropped as to why folk were laughing. She's back to her smiley self again and I'm so grateful for that. (There's always a bin in my favourite photos!)

Anyway ... back to the moment.

Who's your special friend? The one who you feel closest to?

No! But I feel very sad for all my UK friends!

Do you like Eggnog? And if so, rum or no rum?

I'm glad your doing ok Jimmy

My first ever eggnog

I think its good.

Gary liked it but said don't bother making it again

I made a two cup recepie

And i left the nutmeg out because Gary doesn't like that

But he likes cinnamon

Its like alcoholic egg flip so of course i love it

But i made it with honey bourbon not rum because Gary likes bourbon more than rum

Im a lush - I'll drink anything that doesn't have coke in (or yucky aniseed)

What do you think about all the different coke and fanta flavours available?

We had snow in Wellington for the first time in 25 years the year before Moncton

When did you last make a snow angel ? For me that was may back in the early to mid 90s in the car park at work
