Steve Sickler wrote: Max Weinberg played drums in the opening act, in a band known on campus as "Tar Baby", as Gail Boggs, a black actress, was the lead singer. But also billed as "The Jim Marino Band", who played bass that night.

Originally booked for the large Walsh Auditorium, but only enough tickets sold to fill the student union.

"Twist and Shout" was the encore, with the whole hall up and dancing.

At 2:00 AM, Bruce was loading the equipment into an old van himself.
