T Cantillon wrote: Great to have Bruce back! Haven't seen him since a Wrecking Ball show in 2012. Light of Day was terrific lineup of talent.
Love Jesse Malin and his band. New material sounds terrific. Jesse, his band and Bruce rocked hard on The Ramones "Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll". Bruce then joined Willie Nile on "One Guitar"--killer song and set from Willie. Nice tribute to the late Lou Reed with "Sweet Jane".
Close to midnight Bruce tour thru a bunch of tunes with the Houserockers: "Adam Raised the Cain", "Darkness", "Atlantic City" and "Because the Night" and a bluesy, extended jam on "Never Be Enough Time".
Two surprises came with a beautiful rendition of "Hearts of Stone" and rocking "Frankie Fell In Love", which definitely has a "Two Hearts" and "Held Up Without a Gun" feel to it--loved it.
The evening closed with the entire audience singing all of "Thunder Road", which was an amazing way to cap off terrific night of music from everyone.
Looking forward to the upcoming tour.
