Bruce announced to the audience that "we" had the option of ending the performance with an offer of playing the next night at McNichols arena - a vastly inferior venue. Naturally the crowd roared to play on, and Bruce lit into a cover of CCR's "Who'll Stop the Rain." And in one of those glorious, "Oh My God!" concert moments the rain stopped in the middle of the song.
