An altogether odd release. "Hungry Heart" was first released as a single in 1980, but in 1995 Bruce Springsteen decided to release it again in connection with Greatest Hits. Thus, the first track on the disc is the familiar studio version of the song, but the second track is "Hungry Heart" with a new live vocal by Bruce (and not a very good one) recorded during the video shoot of the song at Caf? Eckstein in Berlin where he performed with a local band. That local band was apparently deemed unworthy since not a trace of their instruments can be heard. It's the original E Street Band arrangement that was used. The last three tracks were all recorded live at Sony Studios on April 5, 1995. This is the only CD where these versions appear.
