In an interview with the Boston Herald, Steve says the tour in support of The Rising is set to start in the second week of August. No word on where, Europe or the US. Rumors are running wild in New Jersey that none other than Bruce is going to sing the national anthem before the third game of the NBA finals at the Continental Airlines Arena today Sunday, June 9, between the L.A. Yes, it's time for tour rumors again. Two years after the Reunion Tour ended in New York City, it's heating up again. Six days in September are being held at the First Union Center in Philadelphia for an as yet unknown artist, and employees at the venue speculate that it could be Springsteen. Other tour rumors suggest that the tour could kick off in Boston, maybe as early as August, just as venues in the North West are said to be under consideration for shows around September. According to Belgium newspaper, De Standaard, Bruce will follow the release of his new album with a public relations tour in August around the world doing interviews for various news medias. Also, according to the same newspaper, a TV concert is planned for that period. But most important, the newspaper goes on to say that a world tour is set to start in the US in the fall and will continue in Japan and Australia early next year and with summer shows following in Europe.
