Bruce to record with band members

Bruce will spend part of January and February recording new music with various E Street Band members, according to a reliable source. Bruce allegedly wrote lots of new songs on the Devils & Dust Tour and is ready to try them out in the studio. If these preliminary recordings turn out well, more full-blown recording sessions can be expected to start soon after. Last glimpse of the Upstage Club

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the house that used to host the legendary Upstage Club is about to be torn down. Upstage club to be demolished

One of the last remaining historical music landmarks in Asbury Park is scheduled to be gutted for condos in January, 2006. Incredibly, 35 years after the demise, the 2nd and 3rd floors of 700 Cookman Avenue still have all the original artwork and stage, etc. In the late Sixties and very early Seventies Springsteen spent hundreds of hours jamming at the Upstage and met several of his later associates there, including Steve Van....
